Codes and Conventions of print adverts
These are adverts for the same show on Channel 4, however we can clearly see that the rule of thirds has been used in both of them, in the upper advert the young girl is mostly centred on the right hand side of the advert and on the bottom advert the boy is centred mainly on the left hand side. Both adverts have the Channel 4 logo on the right hand side, in the same font and both are the same size, both adverts have the information in the white border in black writing to make it stand out more to the audience. Also in the right corner at the bottom is the channel 4 website address, in a very small font as this is the least important information. the backgrounds are also in a low colour key and the subject matter is simple and not to elaborate for the audience to focus on.
