Editing Diary

September:

• Captured footage we'd filmed and imported the footage to edit.
• cut the footage up ready to be put on the time line.

November:

• Imported more footage we'd filmed and cut it up.
• Placed footage on the time line in order it is to be shown in.
• Started to get archive footage needed and what type of music would fit with the theme of our documentary.
• Starting timing opening sequence for documentary, falling short and needed one more person for the opening.
• Opening sequence nearly finished as we added footage of a giant centipede.
• Edited music to switch from a nice slow song to a heavy metal piece.
• Imported and cut more footage and placed it on the time line E.G interview with Sue.
• Finished opening sequence and added the last person to the intro, finished off timing the intro to the beat of the music.
• Imported another interview and cut it up, placed it on the time line.
• Put a piece of music on, edited it to make it shorter and made it fade in and out.

December:

• Put the titles of the people we interviewed on the documentary to introduce who the speakers where.
• Placed archive footage of roller coaster as cutaway

January:

• Placed and edited last interview with the dog attack victim and reconstruction on.
• Edited reconstruction to make it blurry, red and slowed it down.
• Finished added music and edited it to fit.
• Placed voice over on time line and bade it louder.
• Placed cutaways on the interviews and made them dissolve in and out.
• Added title of our documentary.
• Redid dog attack victim interview and placed that in.
• Lowered music volume to enable the voice over to be heard.
• Added pulsing effect to title.
• Sorted the last of the vox pops out.
